Organizations we have collaborated with in the past include: + Interval House
Sigmas raised $286 and created 266 care packages which were all donated back to Interval House, Su Casa, and Women's Shelter.
We would want to especially thank Lynne Coenen from the Women's Resource Center for being a guest speaker for our "Speaking SAFE" event as well as allowing us to host our "Build-A-Care" at the Women's Resource Center.

Events Monday, October 19th: Baked Goods for a Cause @10 - 2 PM, tabling in front of the CBA building.
March 23 & 24, 2009: tabling @ CBA 11 am - 2 pm March 25, 2009: "Speak Safe" @ 7-9 pm, guest speaker from Interval House. March 26, 2009: Build-A-Care @ Women's Resource Center

Philanthropy
Sigma Phi Omega's official National Philanthropy is the fight to end domestic violence. Annually, in the month of October, we have a Stop Abuse in Family Environment or S.A.F.E Week, a week dedicated to raise awareness about domestic violence and how to stop it. During this week, we would pass out flyers and brochures, host a day on CSULB's campus for a guest speaker to educate the public about the wrongdoings of domestic violence, and create an event where we do service with or for a domestic violence shelter. Also, during these events, we try to raise money to donate back to these shelters.
